"The Better Fight" showcases what his peers have known for some years; that Terry Tufts is a formidable singer and songwriter as well as a brilliant guitarist. The album features eleven original Tufts songs as well as the traditional Awake Ye Drowsy Sleeper and the great Isley brothers hit "I Got Work To Do".
The music on "The Better Fight" is topical, emotional, personal and played by some of the best contemporary musicians in Canada. The album features Mark Ferguson on keyboards; John Geggie on bass; Ross Murray on drums; Rob Graves on percussion; and special guest vocalist Jesse Winchester.
Recorded in Ottawa and Almonte, Ontario, the album was engineered by Ken Friesen and produced by Bill Garrett.
