The kudos
came home to roost with one of the folk community’s hardest working bands at this year’s Canadian Folk Music
Awards. Tanglefoot took the award for Best Vocal Group at ceremonies held December 1st at the
Canadian Museum of Civilization.
As we begin the New Year the band is back on the road again with a packed schedule that criss-crosses North America.
And then in May Tanglefoot heads across the pond for their annual tour of the to the U.K. No resting for these
great vocalists!

We
are pleased to welcome Enoch to our musical family and look forward to celebrating the launch of his new CD "One
More Round" at Toronto's Arts & Letters Club May 10th.
Raised in working class Glasgow where he learned the traditional songs, Enoch later moved to London where along
with Ewan McColl and Peggy Seeger he founded the Singers Club. Now some 42 years after moving to Canada Enoch's
music remains as vital as ever. While his songs are deeply rooted in the traditional Scottish style, Enoch's natural
storytelling style is complemented by a ferocious wit and a natural warmth that makes him one of the most compelling
performers on the folk scene.
Enoch is accompanied on “One More Round” by Kelly Hood (uilleann pipes) and Pat Simmonds (accordion, fiddle and
guitar). Both musicians will join Enoch for the Toronto launch of “One More Round.”
CD Launch – “One More Round”
The Arts & Letters Club, 14 Elm St. – Toronto
