Bob Snider - Caterwaul & Doggerel

Considered by many, a national treasure, Bob Snider is described as one of Canada’s best songwriters. Originally produced over a decade ago Caterwaul & Doggerel is once again available, re-released on Borealis Records. Bob Snider is a Juno nominee for Best Roots/Traditional Album 1997; he was nominated for two East Coast Music Awards in 1995. On this re-release, lyrics for all songs are included in the 16-page booklet; some liner notes have been updated; Bob’s illustrations appear throughout. Bob Snider is author of On Songwriting (Gaspereau Press 2005). The book takes readers on an engaging songwriting journey and includes the lyrics for and the stories behind ten songs, including a couple of notable tunes from this CD, “Darn Folksinger” & “Sittin’ in the Kitchen”. Musicians on this record include Don Kerr, Victor Bateman, Dave Bidini, Bob Wiseman, Gord Cumming and Jeff Burke. Produced by Don Kerr.
