Brambles and Thorns
Brambles And Thorns – John Wort Hannam In his own words…“John Wort Hannam is back with 12 new lyrical, hook-laden tunes.”
In April 2012 I called on my buddy Leeroy Stagger to produce a record for me. I called some friends, Leeroy called some friends and with the gang all sitting around all miked up at the the Rebeltone Ranch studio, the tape began rolling.
Recorded live off the floor, the latest album, Brambles and Thorns, captures the pure sound of musicians making music, not musicians making a record.
The gang was myself on guitars and vocals, Tyson Maiko on upright bass, Scott Duncan on fiddle, and John Macarthur Ellis on everything he could get his hands on - guitars, mandolin, lapsteel, dobro, piano, and melodica.
I’m thrilled to start a new relationship with Borealis Records whom will be releasing the new recording world-wide.
“And we’re thrilled to have John join our family of artists”
