Oliver Schroer & the Stewed Tomatoes - Freedom Row

Freedom Row is boundary-pushing fiddler Oliver Schroer's final full-length album with his band the Stewed Tomatoes. Recorded in various studios and even from his hospital bed as he dealt with the cancer that finally took his life, the music is compelling and soulful, and represents Oliver's unique and celebratory approach to music and life in general. Oliver Schroer (June 18, 1956 - July 3, 2008) was a Canadian fiddler, composer and music producer. Oliver was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2007 which proved to be untreatable. The release of Freedom Row has been much-anticipated by his many friends and fans alike.
