Oliver Schroer - Hymns And Hers

Oliver Schroer’s leukemia diagnosis in the spring of 2007 prompted him to put the making of an album of hymns on the top of his pile of things to do. While waiting for treatment, Oliver recorded Hymns And Hers realizing the divine duality of the tunes he had assembled. Hymns An Hers is not a solo CD but a plush ensemble project, with production values harkening back to Schroer’s earlier work on CD’s like Jigzup.  Schroer collaborates with some of the Toronto’s finest musicians - friends old and new - to create a breathtaking sound. "Beautiful, but never hopeless, this is a very intriguing journey" - Exclaim!
