Stone Sand Sea Sky is Penny’s first studio album in over 6 years following the critically-acclaimed indie release “Somebody Else”. It follows the Juno-nominated Gather Honey, released on Borealis in 2001, a retrospective of the years 1963 to 1978. Producer Roma Baran is a Canadian living in New York and was Laurie Anderson’s long time producer.“It’s Not Easy” was written for Penny by her long time friend Ken Pearson (Full Tilt Boogie Band).
