Stan Rogers ‘One Warm Line’ DVD
This wonderful documentary on the life and music of Stan Rogers originally produced in 1990 now includes a newly-enhanced version of the film, plus extra rare video footage of Stan performing in concert along with insights from producer and friend Paul Mills, singer-songwriter Connie Kaldor, poet and collaborator Bill Howell and writer Rick Salutin.
The acclaimed documentary was praised by The Globe and Mail critic John Haslett: “as lyrical as the soul of the singer it celebrates,” meanwhile Mike Boone from The Montreal Gazette raved, “One Warm Line is an exuberant celebration of a great singer-songwriter.” The documentary was produced by Kensington Communications, directed by Alan Collins and Robert Lang, and originally premiered on CBC TV.
Until now the new version of this film was only available as a part of the Stan Rogers Box Set box set that also includes the re-mastered five original albums and the bonus EP.
However now we’re very pleased to now make the DVD available on its own.
‘One Warm Line’ plays in all regions.
